The CRM Science Lab Coat Geeks had a great time at the 5th Annual Phillyforce Conference on Tuesday May 16, 2017! Over 200 people packed World Cafe Live in Center City Philadelphia to geek out on all things Salesforce. Ami Assayag opened up the event with some remarks about the Philly Salesforce community, thanking everyone for their contributions, and announced his stepping down from his leadership role in Phillyforce after six years.
It was a day filled with learning and inspiring presentations by all of the speakers that attended. Jimmy Au a Salesforce Einstein Product Manager celebrated his 1-year anniversary with Salesforce by giving us an introduction to Salesforce Einstein and showed how Einstein is making Salesforce the world's smartest CRM. After that Petere Kress, Vice President & CIO, ACTS Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. took the stage to discuss how Acts is leveraging the Salesforce.com platform and ecosystem to build a service and engagement engine to deliver wellness and hospitality experiences for the 9000 residents of its continuing care retirement communities. We believe he also promised everyone in the audience a Tesla? Maybe we misheard. Don Robins, Salesforce MVP, Salesforce University Instructor was up next to give the aspiring developers in the audience a quick course on code. We kicked off the afternoon with an exciting Trailhead presentation by Dana Hall the Engagement Marketing Manager at Trailhead. Jennifer Wyher, Solution Architect at Mavens closed out the speaker portion of the day with a presentation on Machine Learning Systems in Apex.

But the greatest part of the event, made possible by Phillyforce sponsors, Dell Boomi, Slalom, Internet Creations, Own Backup, Taskray, and Geopointe, were the people who attended and shared their Salesforce experiences with one another. We've gathered some pictures and things shared by Phillyforce attendees below. We can't wait for Phillyforce 2018!
"This year's conference was our best yet, with great speakers, content, and new venue that facilitated even more networking and collaboration."
