2015 In Review

2015 is in our rearview mirror. And as we glance back, like many of you, we have some favorite moments that made it great. We'd like to thank our wonderful clients, our partners, and of course our CRM Science Labcoats for making it an amazing year. 2016 is already upon us, and with it tons of opportunity to do good work, and good things. Here are some our top moments from 2015:

1. Dreamforce

CRM Science sent most of our team to Dreamforce, rocking our signature white Labcoats. We geeked out in the Salesforce Developer Zone that was done up in Trailhead theme. Our labcoats walked the floor and answered Salesforce questions, handing out calender cubes, and taking photos with fans. We had a blast at the Foo Fighters concert. What can we say? We code hard, and we play hard.

2. CRM Science Named 9th Fastest Growing Company In Philadelphia

CRM Science is the 9th fastest growing company in Philadelphia! The Philadelphia 100 awards are based on a company’s percentage increase in sales taken over the three full years of preceding business. CRM Science recorded a growth rate of 411% in that three year period! Incidentally, this makes CRM Science the fastest growing Salesforce partner in the Philadelphia area! We're working hard on doing even better in 2016.

3. The Puzzle Party

We loved throwing the CRM Science Giant Puzzle Party at the Eventbrite headquarters during Dreamforce 2015. It’s a curious thing to put together a party; very much like creating a puzzle, or conceptualizing a new game. And as is true in most things, it is the people who made the party great! We had giant Jenga, a Street Fighter II arcade game, and gave away 4 huge cube puzzles.

4. National Guard Appreciation Day

Kirk Steffke, CRM Science's Appexchange Practice Lead, had the opportunity to experience the National Guard Appreciate Day in Delaware with our own, and widely recognized, Salesforce MVP, Alex Sutherland. Alex is part of the Air National Guard and is currently working through a deployment. However, prior to his leave, Alex extended an invitation to Kirk to join him for the day to see how he "navigates the other clouds."

Kirk got a crash course on the National Guard, which led into a demonstration of the technologies the fire and bomb divisions get to use (thermal devices, bomb suits, and robots. In addition, he saw their cyber warfare building where groups break into teams to infiltrate each others finely developed networks as routine training exercises. The capstone of the day was a flight in a C-130 over Atlantic City and back, with Alex performing his navigation duties in the cockpit. These pictures can't describe how cool it was. Back on the ground Alex gave Kirk a behind the scenes tour. He showed him how flights are planned and more details on what he does, topping it off by letting him strap on a pair of night vision goggles.
