The event was keynoted by Salesforce Vice Chairman and President Keith Block. This World Tour focused on a number of different platform enhancements, as well as growth opportunities on the Salesforce platform. The main keynote featured a look at the Customer Success Platform, Salesforce1 Lightning Platform, and Wave: the Salesforce Analytics Cloud.
Nearly 10,000 attendees on site were treated to many of the same types of opportunities available at Dreamforce. Many members of the CRM Science team had played a key role in helping with the World Tour, as our founder Ami Assayag presented his presentation to a packed audience, reviewing mapping agents for Salesforce integrations.
Alex Sutherland and Mike Cerullo were featured in the Developer Code Consultation sections, providing attendees with the ability to sit down with a Developer and review their best practices for how to setup their code base. Many members of the seen were easy to spot, as once again, the CRM Science team sported their white lab coats while attending the day's events, which generated their own questions from curious conference goers.
Salesforce again continued with its partnership in the local area, teaming with City Harvest in New York City, where attendees could bring a canned good or help support the non-profit through online donations as well. The event helped raise awareness of the organization, and provided a way to give back, as well as educate attendees.
Our CRM Science Team had many members in attendance for the World Tour, we look forward to our team being an important piece to Dreamforce 2015 later this year.
