Our own Ami Assayag will be a featured presenter at the upcoming Salesforce World Tour in New York City, June 18th. Ami will speak at the DevZone on a topic titled "Deep Dive Into Salesforce Integrations: Mapping Agents".
The session's abstract:
"When building sync functionality for external services, it is often necessary to provide flexibility to how the integration interacts with the org. That’s where mapping agents come in handy - they allow you to build a more generic integration that can create callouts dynamically with mapping information that is pre-configured by org admins. The same mappings can also be used to dynamically deserialize incoming calls. This session will include code review of a simple mapping agent as well as tips and tricks on dealing with value and type variabilities, nested nodes, lookup mapping, custom object mapping, and more."
New York's event will host a variety of other events and featured guests of Salesforce, including famed Duke Men's Basketball Coach Mike Krzyzewski, NBC Late Night host Seth Meyers, and acclaimed fashion designer and philanthropist Diane Von Furstenberg. In addition to the celebrity speakers, nearly 80+ breakout and hands-on training sessions will be available for attendees to take part in, and learn more about features on the Salesforce platform. The three day event, held from June 16th to June 18th, will be one of the many smaller events leading up to Dreamforce 2015, and gives a chance for regional users to connect with and talk to many Salesforce Professionals.
