Salesforce Analyst

Summary

The Salesforce Analyst performs Salesforce administration and configuration tasks as well as analysis, requirement gathering, testing, and documentation of client business processes and Salesforce products.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Perform analysis of business needs and requirements for use in application design, configuration, and development.

  2. Document client business requirements, specifications, training materials, and other project support documentation.

  3. Under supervision and direction, customize clients’ orgs, including but not limited to

    1. User set up and org configuration

    2. Page layouts, fields, tabs

    3. Perform data migration, data cleansing and backup as well as a unit and integration testing

    4. Create high-value reports and dashboards

    5. Set up workflow automation 

  4. Develop test protocols or plan for testing revised application and review test results.

  5. Identify personas and support multiple business users globally. 

  6. Identify process improvements and recommend system changes in support of clients’ business needs.

  7. Provide end-user training including supporting material and documentation.

  8. Research, recommend and implement Salesforce-based solutions including third-party applications to enhance business processes.

  9. Maintain superior knowledge of Salesforce clouds, products, functionality and releases.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce business analyst.

  2. Extensive experience with Salesforce clouds, products, and functionality.

  3. Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, multi-task and quickly assess and adjust priorities, meeting deadlines and exceeding end-user expectations.

  4. Salesforce Administrator I and Salesforce Certified Consultant.

  5. Ability to collaborate with architects, developers, and business units to apply best practices to Salesforce platform solutions.

  6. Ability to interact and communicate effectively and clearly with all levels of staff and project management in both the business and the technical areas.

  7. Self-motivated with analytical, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas.

  8. Strong verbal and written communication skills with extensive experience in process documentation.

 

Some travel may be required.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
