Project Manager

Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and driving execution on all project activities, and facilitating clear and concise internal team and client communication to ensure successful outcomes, champion a consistent delivery of services, and promote a healthy pipeline of project work throughout the client engagement.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Leads cross-functional, multi-project team resources to ensure salesforce solutions are delivered on-time and on-budget according to defined scope, timeline and hours parameters.

  2. Plans, schedules, and controls all project activities toward these objectives, applying technical, theoretical and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements, while building positive professional relationships with clients and internal team members.

  3. Assures proper project execution by following the company’s delivery model.

  4. Creates a project plan for each project and keeps current.

  5. Coordinates all project plan activities, including but not limited to kickoff, discovery, build, QA, UAT and deployment activities,

  6. Based on the project plan, provides clients with weekly written status reports, and monthly hours consumption.

  7. Sets clear expectations for the project and timeline with the client and team and determine project communication cadence through the life of the engagement.

  8. Communicates and manages the project work plan and hours, and scope changes, and maintain open lines of communication with the client. 

  9. Manages project resources with input from Technical Lead.

  10. Ensures documentation is complete and current at each phase of the project lifecycle.

  11. Monitors for project work that is on time, on budget, meets required functionality and is of the highest quality while understanding and working towards success milestones. 

  12. Develops and maintains strong client relationships with all client levels and facilitates regular strategic business reviews.

  13. Maintain current client and project data in the Salesforce org.

  14. Provides internal and external thought leadership including process documentation, blog posts, webinars. 


Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of experience in customer engagement/success.

  2. Strong project management skills. PMP certification preferred.

  3. Salesforce Administrator Certification and Salesforce Consultant Certification required.

  4. Outstanding assertive communication. 

  5. Strong attention to detail.

  6. Knowledge of sales and success processes.

  7. Must be highly organized and able to work efficiently on multiple projects, meet tight deadlines and respond to changing priorities.

  8. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

  9. Maintains a professional image and a positive attitude at all times.

  10. Strong writing skills.

  1. Work from home: 80%

  2. Travel required: 20%

  3. Travel to clients / events as needed
